II. Establishment of Elevator Maintenance Company
The number of passengers at Narita International Airport reach
30 million
s annually and the elevators and escalators are used as a major transportation equipment to go around in the airport.
To offer better service levels to our customers and reduce costs, NAA will establish a company charged solely with maintaining and supervising the operations of these important facilities. This will bring the work formerly carried out by companies affiliated with equipment manufacturers under the control of the new company and ensure that staff are on duty at all times at the airport to respond immediately to any problems. Please refer below for a brief outline of the company.
